The brochure-based promise of a travel experience didn’t work on the modern traveller. They craved to live the life of a local in its most pure, unblemished form. The expectations from the travel sector became simpler – the chance to blend in with the authentic Sri Lankan experience in return for partaking in the tourism boom.
What did the client own? A thirst for content creation, a love for travel and a skill for networking. The right mix of these elements were poured into the concoction of the Travsome way of thinking. It carved a niche from the tourism sector to structure a fitting business model.
Brought to life a platform and community that believed in inspiring, educating and forming a comradeship among like-minded travellers, willing to fly to nooks of the globe if it promised a feast of reality, affordability and cultural immersion.
