Enabling the eruption of a novel travel platform, focused towards “Halal Travellers”, IQ developed a Brand Identity that caters for Muslim holidaymakers seeking travel opportunities that do not compromise their Islamic principles. Our ideation played around the lifestyle elements to conceive an all-new approach to how halal-friendly travel is viewed.
Within the travel industry, there exists a large gap in what’s known as halal travel. There was a tremendous need to access every destination in the world, threatened by the fear of breaking halal principles. This potential market is lost due to the lack of correct brand propositioning.
Firstly, it necessitated understanding how halal travel was viewed – as a set of rigid rules that condemned fun and made travelling difficult. This knowledge was reworked to establish how to appeal to the modern traveller, understand their exact needs in terms of making every destination a possibility whilst ensuring their Muslim principles were adhered to.
A brand identity emanated from our design studio, capturing the components of architectural marvels scattered across the path of Ibn Battuta – a lone man’s voyage in medieval history. The spirit of the complete delivery is based upon the interwoven belief that an adventurous exploration around the globe is not limited to anyone.
